I am foremost a theater artist. As a child I would sit in my grandparents' family room and wind the wooden music box that played Memory. I could not peel my eyes away from the metal mechanism that spun, plucking the melody. It was calling to me. I was then creating stories and dances to perform. I organized productions on my hearth and in my backyard. I have always been attracted to the creation of theater from front to back and all its gears. After my informal years training I followed my interests to design and production at Idyllwild Arts Academy then the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. I found that by obtaining tools from all departments I could better understand how the mechanisms work. I currently work as a Principal Dresser at the New York City Ballet. When not attending to the garments I am writing plays about experiences both perceived and reflected. Throughout all my training I thought up plots and concepts, plans for theater facilities, and scenes for future works.
